The mission of the Center for Community Transitions is to strengthen the community by assisting people returning from prison and jail find healthier, more productive ways of living. The Center helps families through the transition as well as helps families stay connected while their family member is incarcerated.
Myra Clark started with the Center as a volunteer. But after 28 years, she was tired. It was only after taking some much needed time off that Clark says she came back to the organization with renewed energy, a renewed spirit and a new way of looking at the work she was doing. She now knows that she is still where she needs to be and that she is continuing to help make a difference in people's lives.
