Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation to hold Information Sessions
(June 7, 2006) The Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, based in Winston-Salem, is conducting a series of five information sessions throughout the state June 20-22. Last year, the Foundation developed a new application intended to enhance communication and produce a better understanding of work and impacts of non-profits in North Carolina. During these sessions, Foundation staff will respond to questions regarding the online application and results-oriented application questions. The Rensselaerville Institute will offer thoughts on how to use an outcomes framework to increase organizational performance and efficiency.
Sessions will be held at the following locations and times:
- Raleigh – June 20, 1-3pm, Peace College, Browne-McPherson Music Building, Kenan Hall. For directions click here.

The Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation was established in 1936 as a memorial to the youngest child of Katharine and R. J. Reynolds and has since given more than $366 million in grants to projects in all 100 North Carolina counties. The Foundation now gives special attention to the following focus areas – community economic development; democracy and civic engagement; environment; pre-collegiate education; and social justice and equity.
