GUIDELINES FOR ONLINE SUBMISSION
USING THE MICROEDGE IGAM MODULE
FOR NOMINATIONS FOR THE NANCY
SUSAN REYNOLDS AWARDS

HOW TO NOMINATE SOMEONE
Nominations may be submitted by anyone except the nominee. They are to be
submitted to the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation on forms supplied by the
Foundation or submitted electronically using the IGAM link below. Anonymous
nominations will not be accepted. Please read the Nancy Susan Reynolds Award
information from the web page for a complete description of the award before
submitting an application.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING A NANCY SUSAN REYNOLDS NOMINATION
ELECTRONICALLY:
Before clicking on the IGAM link at the bottom of this page, please read the
following carefully:
When you access the IGAM program, you will first be asked to answer two
questions:
(1) Is your nominee a living resident of North Carolina?
(2) Is your nominee someone who has worked to
make a positive difference in the State of North Carolina, and who has not received
significant recognition for that work?
You must answer "yes" to both of these questions to be eligible to
submit a Nancy Susan Reynolds Award nomination to the Z. Smith Reynolds
Foundation.
When you click on the IGAM link below, you will be asked to sign in and provide
the following information:
- Your E-Mail Address (which will be used as your account ID and to correspond with you)
- If you are a new nominator, click the New Applicant box, then click "Continue"
- If you are a Returning Online Applicant, enter your password and then click "Continue"
New online nominators will be asked to create an Applicant Account (later
referred to as MY ACCOUNT). Please enter:
- Your E-Mail Address (the one you used to sign in)
- Password (minimum of 5 characters)
- Confirm password
- Click "Create Account"
Be sure to write down the E-mail address and the password that you used to
create this account so that you or others can access this account in the
future. After you nominate someone online once, you will be able to view your
previous submissions to the Foundation in your MY ACCOUNT file for years to
come.
After creating an account, you will be able to access the IGAM Nancy Susan
Reynolds Nomination Form.
The Nomination Form consists of three sections and you MUST complete all three
sections.
1. NOMINEE INFORMATION
2. NOMINATOR INFORMATION
3. REFERENCE/REASONS FOR NOMINATING
NOTE:
It is strongly suggested that you print a hard copy of the form before you
begin to enter data so that you can gather all the information needed. Click "Printer
Friendly Version" at the top of the screen to print Pages 1, 2, and 3.
(You can switch from page to page by clicking on Page 1, 2, or 3 at the top of
the screen).
You do not have to complete all of the form at once. You can save the form at
any time (see bottom of each page) and work on it at your convenience. To
access the form again, enter your e-mail address, sign in as a Returning
Applicant, enter your password, then find your incomplete nomination in MY
ACCOUNT. Click on the form title to open the nomination form and continue
filling in the form.
When you are satisfied that your nomination form is complete, click the SUBMIT
button at the bottom of Page 3.
SUBMIT THE NOMINATION ONE TIME ONLY. DO NOT SUBMIT DUPLICATE NOMINATIONS; THEY
WILL BE REJECTED.
An automated e-mail will be sent to you when we retrieve your nomination (which
may not always be the same day that you submit it; however, if you do not
receive an e-mail response within three days, please contact us). We will also
contact you by e-mail or in writing if any additional information is needed.
