Eniris Delgado-Riddick

Program Officer

Eniris Delgado-Riddick came to the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation with more than 12 years of experience serving in the non-profit sector, advocating for the LatinX/Immigrant community, helping underserved families to become self-sufficient. Most recently, Eniris served as the Executive Director for FaithAction International House (FAIH) where she managed staff, oversaw program implementation, and led the strategic planning of the organization.  During her tenure with FAIH she collaborated with different grassroots organizations and advocacy groups in different projects to advance immigrant legal rights such as Get Out to Vote Campaign, HB311 and SB101. Eniris worked with various organizations in Forsyth County advancing Racial Equity and Inclusion to ensure internal organizational processes and services provided to the community were centered around the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Framework.

 In 2013, Eniris was the first Latina to be chosen as a Special Projects Intern for the North Carolina Head Start State Collaboration Office, an opportunity given because of leadership skills and commitment to serve children and families in NC.  During the internship, Eniris co-managed a project for the North Carolina Head Start State Collaboration Office commissioned by Region IV, office of Head Start, designed to stimulate partnerships between North Carolina Head Start and the local division of Social Services Agencies.  She also co-authored a Request for Proposal for all the Head Start, Early Head Start, Migrant Seasonal and various divisions of Social Services agencies.  In 2021, Eniris graduated from the Executive Leadership Academy, a collaboration between the Guilford Nonprofit Consortium and the Center for Creative Leadership.  Eniris graduated from University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus where she received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in International Relations and master’s degree in public administration with a major in Administration and Finance. She was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico and relocated to North Carolina in 2012.
