Nonprofit work can be tough. Whether the mission is to protect the French Broad River, fuel community development or advocate for great public education, creating real and lasting change is a tall order. Success in the nonprofit sector requires the partnership of funders – like the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation (ZSR) – who have ambitious visions for a better world. For 80 years, ZSR has been a positive catalyst for change, working to improve the quality of life for all North Carolinians. On July 14, the community will welcome the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation and its new executive director, Maurice “Mo” Green, to Asheville.
