Beth Priddy joined the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation in March 2020 as its grants administrator. Prior to coming to the Foundation, Beth worked as a billing and insurance manager for a rural health clinic in Eastern North Carolina. Previously, she worked as an administrative coordinator for a local Chamber of Commerce. She earned her AAS in Medical Office Administration from Mira Costa College and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, both with honors. She resides in Lawsonville, NC with her husband, daughter and three dogs.
Chapel Thompson joined the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation in February 2017 as executive assistant. Chapel comes to the Foundation from Guilford County Schools where she served for 18 years in several capacities including most recently as executive assistant for the Superintendent and clerk to the Guilford County Board of Education. Chapel also has experience in the private sector where she served as office services coordinator and executive assistant to the CEO of Bruegger’s Bagels.
Jill Ray joined the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation in 1997 as an administrative assistant. Prior to coming to the Foundation, Jill worked as a buyer’s clerk in Purchasing for four years and secretary for six years at AT&T/Lucent Technologies. She attended Forsyth Technical Community College where she earned a certificate in Microcomputing.

Barbara Mabe joined the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation in 2000 and works in information technology, accounting and grants. Prior to coming to the Foundation, Barbara was an office manager and bookkeeper at RSM US LLP. Barbara has earned an AAS in Accounting, an AAS in Business Administration and an AAS in Computer Information Technology from Surry Community College, all with honors.

Terry Lockamy joined the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation in March 2011 as business manager. Terry comes to the philanthropic sector after a successful career at Hanesbrands, Inc., formerly Sara Lee Branded Apparel, where he most recently held key positions of divisional chief financial officer and vice president of finance. Terry earned a Bachelors in Business Administration from Appalachian State University where he was a Magna Cum Laude graduate. He also holds an MBA from Appalachian State University. Terry is a native of North Carolina.
LaRita Bell is the travel/meetings coordinator for the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation. Prior to this position, when LaRita joined the Foundation in 1990, she worked in accounting and grants management. Before coming to the Foundation, LaRita was an administrative assistant in the Legal Department of R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, where she was responsible for the legal accounting system and month-end closings. She previously worked as a national sales assistant in the Traffic Department of WXII TV 12. LaRita attended Salem College.
