Barbara Gorham

Barbara B. Gorham, a natural-born optimist, believes that in the end peace will prevail. A proud native of a small city nestled in the southern roots of eastern North Carolina, she fondly calls her beloved birthplace, Whitakers, North Carolina, home.

Natalie Ditta

Natalie is the Executive Assistant for the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation. 

Born and raised outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Natalie decided to make North Carolina her new home in 2021.  

Alan Hodges

Alan K. Hodges joined the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation in July 2019 in a part-time Consultant/Contractor role. He joined the Staff full-time in October 2022 as its Accountant. Alan’s most recent positions included Adjunct Instructor in the Arts and Sciences Department of Forsyth Technical Community College where he earned Certification as an Online Instructor as well as the Director of Manufacturing Accounting at HanesBrands, Inc. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Tech University and an MBA from Appalachian State University.

Pamela C. Spalding

Pamela C. Spalding joined the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation in October 2020 as its Business Manager. Pamela has worked for both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Her most recent positions included Director of Volunteer Services at St. Peter’s World Outreach Center and Vice-President at Bank of America. Pamela’s career history in accounting, operations and project management also includes working at HanesBrands, Inc. and as a Certified Public Accountant. Pamela holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from UNC at Greensboro and an MBA from Wake Forest University.

Beth Priddy

Beth Priddy joined the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation in March 2020 as its grants administrator. Prior to coming to the Foundation, Beth worked as a billing and insurance manager for a rural health clinic in Eastern North Carolina. Previously, she worked as an administrative coordinator for a local Chamber of Commerce. She earned her AAS in Medical Office Administration from Mira Costa College and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, both with honors. She resides in Lawsonville, NC with her husband, daughter and three dogs.

Jill Ray

Jill Ray is a grants administrator for the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation’s All For NC strategies and programs where she processes and manages grants and assists program staff and grantees during the life cycle of a grant. Jill also helps maintain content for the Foundation’s website. Prior to her current role, Jill joined the Foundation in 1997 as an administrative assistant. She attended Forsyth Technical Community College where she earned a certificate in Microcomputing.

LaRita Bell

LaRita Bell is the travel/meetings coordinator for the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation. Prior to this position, when LaRita joined the Foundation in 1990, she worked in accounting and grants management. Before coming to the Foundation, LaRita was an administrative assistant in the Legal Department of R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, where she was responsible for the legal accounting system and month-end closings. She previously worked as a national sales assistant in the Traffic Department of WXII TV 12. LaRita attended Salem College.
