Accountant
Alan K. Hodges joined the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation in July 2019 in a part-time Consultant/Contractor role. He joined the Staff full-time in October 2022 as its Accountant. Alan’s most recent positions included Adjunct Instructor in the Arts and Sciences Department of Forsyth Technical Community College where he earned Certification as an Online Instructor as well as the Director of Manufacturing Accounting at HanesBrands, Inc. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Tech University and an MBA from Appalachian State University. Alan resides in Winston-Salem with his wife and although originally from Virginia, he has lived in North Carolina for over 40 years.
