White House Honors John Herrera, Co-founder of Latino Community Credit Union

The White House named John Herrera, co-founder of the Latino Community Credit Union (LCCU) – a ZSR grantee – an Immigrant Innovator Champion of Change. Champions are immigrant innovators and entrepreneurs – the best and brightest from around the world who are helping create American jobs, grow the economy, and make the nation more competitive. LCCU is the first fully bilingual financial institution in North Carolina. It has become the fastest growing community development credit union in the nation and a model for banking for new immigrants.
